Our New Location and Grand Re-Opening June 24th!
After 11 joyous years, Cyndy Carstens is moving her studio and gallery, Carstens Fine Art Studio & Gallery, to a new location! Cyndy enjoyed her former gallery location very much, with its vibrant and neighborly community, quaint courtyard, and incredible memories, but the opportunity to move presented itself, and she took the leap!
The decision to move wasn’t easy, but Cyndy is grateful for the supportive community that has supported her artwork and given her the opportunity to grow. Cyndy would like to thank all of her collectors, whether they’ve been a longtime collector of her art or simply stopped by the gallery during one Thursday night for Scottsdale’s Art Walk, who have supported her, her artwork, and her business. You are an invaluable part of her community and will continue to be so in the future.
Carstens Fine Art Studio & Gallery is now located at 7100 E. Main Street, #B, in Scottsdale. Less than a block away from her previous studio location, it is still located in Scottsdale’s Fine Arts District. The studio and gallery will also have new hours, and be open on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m.. The studio will be closed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Ample Space and Comfort Abound
The new studio and gallery location will feature ample space for Cyndy’s artwork to take center stage. Evoking a museum-like feel with high ceilings, generous light, and an open and leisurely setting, visitors and collectors of past, present, and future can enjoy their time in the gallery space. The gallery space is designed for comfort, and features upholstered chairs and a comfy rug where visitors can relax and contemplate the art around them.
For Cyndy, the studio features much more storage and workspace where she can work on multiple paintings at once. From drying racks to a work table in her studio, Cyndy will not only be able to create more work, but feature more of it in the gallery. This not only benefits her creatively, but visitors as well, as they can watch her work or come right up to the easel to ask questions as they please.
Cyndy has received many positive comments about the openness of the new gallery space and its welcoming ambiance since moving to the new location. A formal grand re-opening event will be held at the studio and gallery on June 24th from 6:30-9 p.m. Visitors are welcome, and the event will feature music from professional harpist Jocelyn Obermeyer and a live demonstration by Cyndy.
We hope to see you there!
